Farfetch set a challenge to take items from their menswear category and style them into a feminine outfit, allowing one womenswear item to complete the outfit. After sifting through the vast possibilities on the Farfetch website I decided on a simple oversized aesthetic with a neutral colour palette. 

I have chosen a long masculine crinkle coat to go over a chunky turtle neck jumper that I would get in a larger size to make sure it could be worn as an oversized dress (as if you had stolen your boyfriends jumper).

To accessorise this simple outfit I have chosen a gold chain necklace, a heavy traditional signet ring and two bangles to stack. I have also selected a large nude leather bag to compliment the coat and lighten the outfit in an attempt to juxtapose the masculine cuts and textures with feminine colours. 

To finish my Menswear for Women outfit I have chosen a pair of snake print loafers which continue the masculine yet feminine slant of the outfit by taking a classic male loafer which has been feminised with a platform and animal print.

I had just come from trying on a maxi trench in Topshop when I stumble across this full length dream coat in a local charity shop and couldn't believe my luck.

The trench is such a timeless classic piece it works with almost everything, here it lightness up my all black ensemble that consists of a black backless dress and leather thigh highs.

This is lazy dressing at its finest. Black culottes go with everything and are currently a major wardrobe staple. Styling them with a loose fit jumper and slip on mules makes for the perfect combination of navy, black and cobalt.
