DISfunkshion magazine

A few months ago the lovely Hugette Montesions of DISfunksion Magazine asked me if I would be interested in doing a style-profile for their magazine. I wrote a piece trying to best describe my style, they picked their favorite pictures from my blog and now I’m in the magazine!

It’s an honor to be included and I love the way the article turned out.
Thanks again to the people at DISfunksion and I hope I can find a print copy on my trip to NYC.

See the full magazine here my article is on page 28.

Everest

I’m wearing my vintage coat, which was a £10 bargain at Reading Festival and my mums vintage earrings. The dress and the shoes are both c/o Zalando. The shoes are Jeffrey Campbell Everest’s and the dress is by Villa.

Now to possibly my favorite part of the outfit the nail ring/gold finger tip. I found this lovely on EBay  a few months ago and bought it for £1.50. Every time I have worn it someone has mentioned how unusual it is….. Possibly because they just think it’s a bit weird but oh well (my mum had something similar in the 80’s they do say nothing is new in fashion)

Can’t believe its Christmas Eve already. Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow J

American Gold

I love the hippy 70’s vibe of this outfit. American Gold has been one of my favored brands for a long time now and I was thrilled to find these flares and cross tunic in the Asos sale (the fedora is also Asos).

Damask print trousers and alternative print flares have been made popular by Balmain, where each season they manage to put a different slant on the glamorous rock and roll laid back image.

As the flares are a little long for me I teamed them with my Acne wedges and suffered a bit from phantom foot syndrome, but at least they elongated my legs J

So enjoying being at home as well! These first few days have flown by. The Christmas tree is up and tomorrow we start making mince pies.

Lets Do The Polka

I bought this gorgeous sheer polka dot top in my first week of uni when my student loan came through, and its been a favourite ever since.

These pictures I had actually forgotten about and were taken before sub zero temperatures set in.

I teamed the top with H and M leather running shorts and my Jeffrey Campbell Tardy’s.

I have to say thank you for all of you that completed my survey as well J I handed my finished 2000 word report in on Friday and now I’m back at home for Christmas J

Day 2 Day

Just a quick post of what I wore to uni the other day.
I have been so busy for the past few weeks as it’s fast approaching all my project deadlines! My last one is to be handed in on the last day of term, which is Friday J
I cant wait to go home and start getting ready for Christmas!!
Anyway I’m wearing my white One Teaspoon dress, an old Topshop shirt, Asos shorts and my Jeffrey Campbell Rosie boots.

Also it would be a real help for my uni essay if you could complete this short survey ...here. Thank you.
Hope everyone had a good weekend J
