Azure

Jacket Vintage, Top Urban Outfitters, Shorts A/Wear, Shoes River Island, Rings random

Another warm day J
This is quite a simple outfit so to brighten it up I threw on my Vintage Oriental jacket. It was passed down to me from my Nan and it is reversible (the reverse side is a lovely white with ornate stitching).
These shoes were a MAJOR bargain buy from River Island, I got them in the sale for £10, for some reason now they are online at £20, typo in my favour???
The little lace shorts were A/Wear at Asos also in the sale a while back.
And a big thank you to Sarah for doing a feature on my blog and producing a lovely illustration, check it out here.

Picnic

This is what I wore on my birthday, we had a lovely picnic in the park and later a big fire, marshmallows and lots of pina colada mix J
This is a top from Central Park West, it’s so soft and has a massive pocket on the side. The fringe vest is from Asos and the shoes are Carvela (a great buy from last summer).
The last picture is me holding a dandelion that has been set alight, it’s really beautiful to watch, but they do burn very fast so this was a very lucky picture !

Prezzies

Bag RipCurl, Shoes River Island, Cross necklace hand made, Earrings dream catcher and ring all unknown presents

Yesterday I turned 19!!! Strangely it seems much much older than 18, maybe it’s just me :$
Here are the lovely things that surprised me on the day J as I had been treated in Canada I didn’t expect anything more, so I was a very happy bunny!
The bag is a laptop holder by Rip Curl and will be great for Uni in October. The shoes are River Island and kind of remind me of some of the Jeffrey Campbell/Acne Wedges and the white shade is so summery.
The boy got me the beautiful Iron Pyrite and silver ring, as well as a very cute dream catcher necklace J
The wooden cross necklace is from a close friend, she hand-made it for me and the cross is made from Olive wood from Bethlehem.
I feel very lucky and had a great day, thank you for all my Birthday wishes J

Bright

Shirt, H and M
Dress, Boohoo
Belt, TNA
Bracelets, earrings and rings, holiday
Boots, Asos

I’m not a huge fan of the colour blocking trend but when I saw this dress I loved the bright colour and thought at £10 from Boohoo it was a great summer buy.
I teamed it with a denim shirt I got from H and M and my new Navajo print belt from Canada which is my new favourite item.
The jewellery is mostly from my Canada trip as well. The three stone turquoise ring is from Aldo and reminded me of similar ones online at Free People.
I think when it gets warmer or when I’m on holiday I will team this dress with bright orange platforms and lots of layered necklaces. I can’t wait J

Treasure

These are a few of my finds from Canada. Feathers, tribal prints and dream catchers seemed to be everywhere (unlike in England). I bought some lovely chunky rings, long feather earrings, a feather hair extension (which you can curl apparently), a great print belt, some rock charms to put on to necklaces, two beaded bracelets and a little Navajo leather purse necklace.
And how can I forget the Julian Louie Wedges. I originally saw them on Sandra of 5 inches and Up and fell in love with them, she mentioned they were hard to get hold of and she was right. You can’t buy them online and every Aldo I went to in England had sold out or didn’t stock them. By chance we drove past an Aldo in Vancouver and I had to check to see if they had them, lucky me they had a few pairs left J  Finally!

Nathan (my little brother), Me and James

I’m back from Canada and it was truly amazing.
I’ve been many times before but haven’t been in the last four years so it was great to finally be back J
The snow was insane, and we had fresh snow almost every day which is very strange for this time of year. I’m a skier and have been since I was six so I thought I would try a bit of snowboarding this time round, I really enjoyed it but hated being a learner on the mountain again and happily returned to my ski’s, very pleased I can now do both.
The pictures are a random few of the trip: sights, The Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory apples (they taste sooo good), an amazing rock and gem store that I spent a lot of time in :P, The Whistler Inukshuk and some breath taking blue mountains on the trip down to Vancouver.
I will share with you some of my finds from the trip soonJ
