Dress Primark Gilet Mum's Short Necklace Vintage Long Necklace Low Luv Bracelets Some Seedy Shop in London |
The holidays are over, today I attempted to go back to college, unluckily we had a car crash, everyone is ok (except the car sadly it has been written off) but it definitely shook me up a little bit!
Anyway on to happier things.... yesterday the sun emerged from behind the clouds, it was lovely so my boyfriend and I went for a walk in the Ashdown Forest. These are a few snaps from our walk, I looked very overdressed next to all the dog walkers but it was a great afternoon.
This dress is from Primark, ive cut the bottom of it off, I’m 5’2 so if anything is slightly the wrong length it can make me look very short indeed. The faux fur gilet is my mum’s but I always steal it!
Do you ever find dresses look ten times better if there a slightly different length? Have you ever had things altered to fit you?

Lovely dress, great for Primark too.
ReplyDeleteI often find longer dresses in charity shops, that I know I can shorten and will look great.
I agree with you, many times I find dresses with the wrong length..love your velvet dress, the color is beautiful, very chic ;) Filipa

Cool post, love the outfit! xx
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit, and I'm the same height as you- altering things to fit properly can change the whole outfit completely and make it look sharper :)

I remember seeing that dress in Primark, it didn't look very inspiring on the hanger.
